Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of mechanical or technical work experience
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, evaporative cooling, dehumidification, heating, air purification, remediation, and ventilation equipment
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and continuously carry 5 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles
- Must be at least 21 years old
- CDL license is a plus
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of work experience using mechanical or technical skills
- Basic knowledge and troubleshooting experience with HVAC, evaporative cooling, dehumidification, heating, air purification, remediation, and ventilation equipment
- Skilled in safe loading, unloading, installation, and removal of climate control equipment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver excellent customer service
- Ability to use technology tools such as iPads, smartphones, laptops, and voice recognition software
- Ability to plan and manage daily schedules and adapt to priorities
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently
Job Duties
- Plan daily delivery and pick-up schedule according to business needs
- Prepare all rental equipment and necessary materials for shipment
- Communicate professionally with customers, sales teams, and internal resources
- Maintain tools and supplies required to complete projects
- Use technology such as iPads, laptops, smartphones, and voice recognition for documentation
- Safely drive, load, and unload box trucks and vans
- Provide professional installation and removal of climate control equipment
- Maintain equipment cleanliness, organization, and green tagging
- Attend training sessions led by Herc Rentals and manufacturers
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
- Work overtime and be on call when necessary
