Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Up to 2 years of experience driving a delivery truck within the last 5 years preferred
- Must meet minimum age requirements
- Must meet DFA requirements for motor vehicle records
- Must meet all DOT requirements
- Certification or license valid Class B or Class B with Air Brake CDL
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Up to 2 years of experience driving a delivery truck within the last 5 years preferred
- Valid Class B or Class B with Air Brake CDL
- Knowledge of DOT procedures rules and requirements
- Skill in proficient computer usage
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Good organization and record keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Must be able to read write and speak English
Job Duties
- Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices
- Deliver pre-ordered or unscheduled products to customers according to route schedule and customer delivery expectations
- Follow designated routes and schedules unless otherwise directed by supervisory personnel
- Load and unload product as required at designated stops manually or with equipment
- Provide merchandising support based on customer requirements and promote sales of new products
- Communicate effectively and maintain good relations with customers resolve complaints and report any problems
- Ensure and perform proper maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment and maintain a clean vehicle
