Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Valid CDL-B license
- 12+ months CDL-B commercial driving experience
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and background check
- Pass road test
- Meet all state licensing or certification requirements
- Acquire or have valid DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift 10-90 pounds and utilize equipment for moving freight
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 12+ months CDL-B commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-B license
- Meet state licensing and certification requirements
- Clean motor vehicle report for past three years
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Valid current DOT health card or able to secure new one
- Able to lift product cases up to 90 pounds
- Preferred experience with onboard computer and electronic log systems
- Preferred experience with handheld point of delivery scanning systems
Job Duties
- Perform safety checks on tractor/truck and trailer pre/post trip inspections according to DOT regulations
- Report safety issues and necessary repairs
- Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving policies
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count check of items and verify customer invoices
- Complete all required paperwork accurately
- Drive and deliver customer orders according to schedule
- Unload products and transport items to designated storage areas
- Perform damage control checks on items and report issues
- Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures
- Collect money when required
- Load returns on trailer and secure doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight security
- Unload damaged goods and complete necessary paperwork
- Conduct housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock
- Secure equipment and complete paperwork at shift end
- Perform related duties as assigned
