Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years of age
- Minimum one year of commercial driving experience
- No DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
- No more than 3 traffic violations in past 3 years
- Doubles endorsement required
- Must have or be willing to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements with reimbursement
- Ability to frequently enter and exit commercial vehicle
- Ability to carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for up to 20 feet
- Ability to hook and unhook trailers and operate related equipment
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Doubles endorsement required
- Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or currently holding them
- At least one year of commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance
- Strong safety record with no DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
- Ability to perform physical duties related to freight handling
- Good communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Hook up and haul trailers between customer and terminal locations as instructed by dispatch or supervisor
- Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompanies shipments
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations safely over long distances
- Complete all required paperwork according to government and company policies
- Maintain communication with dispatch and report any issues promptly
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times
