Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- valid Class A CDL
- 1 year of commercial driving experience
- no DUIs or DWIs in past 3 years
- no more than 3 traffic violations in past 3 years
- must have or be willing to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds
- ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently
- capable of hooking and unhooking trailers
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- at least 1 year of commercial driving experience
- strong safety record with no DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
- no more than 3 traffic violations in past 3 years
- ability to obtain or possess Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- good physical condition for job duties
Job Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- hook up and haul trailers between customer and terminal locations as instructed
- ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompany shipments
- operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances
- perform loading and unloading duties as necessary
- maintain compliance with government and company regulations
- communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors
