Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • valid Class A CDL
  • 1 year of commercial driving experience
  • no DUIs or DWIs in past 3 years
  • no more than 3 traffic violations in past 3 years
  • must have or be willing to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds
  • ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently
  • capable of hooking and unhooking trailers

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • at least 1 year of commercial driving experience
  • strong safety record with no DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
  • no more than 3 traffic violations in past 3 years
  • ability to obtain or possess Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
  • good physical condition for job duties

Job Duties

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • hook up and haul trailers between customer and terminal locations as instructed
  • ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompany shipments
  • operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances
  • perform loading and unloading duties as necessary
  • maintain compliance with government and company regulations
  • communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors
