Job Requirements
- Must have a Class A CDL from current state of residence
- one full year of Class A OTR or regional experience within the last three years or two years in the last five years
- no more than two jobs in the last 12 months and no more than four jobs in the last three years
- no termination for safety reasons from previous employment
- no more than two moving violations, citations or preventable incidents in the last three years
- no DOT recordable preventable accidents in the last five years
- never failed or refused a DOT drug test
- DUI in personal vehicle must be at least eight years old and only one in lifetime
- no DUIs in commercial motor vehicles
- must complete required online orientation
- must have space to keep truck and trailer as trailer cannot be detached from tractor
Job Qualifications
- Hold a valid Class A CDL
- minimum one year Class A OTR or regional driving experience in the last three years or two years in the last five years
- clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or preventable accidents in the last three years
- no DOT recordable preventable accidents in the last five years
- eligible to pass DOT drug and alcohol testing
- able to manage long regional routes
- good communication skills
- ability to handle drop and hook freight
Job Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
- follow all federal and state transportation laws
- manage drop and hook deliveries
- maintain communication with dispatch and customer service
- complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- ensure freight delivery on time and in good condition
- comply with company safety and operational policies
