Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- valid Class A CDL
- at least 3 months verifiable solo Class A driving experience within last 6 months or 6 months in last 12 months or 18 months in last 36 months (excluding trainer or yard time)
- no more than 2 moving violations in past 12 months
- no serious violations such as reckless driving or leaving the scene of an accident
- no DOT preventable major accidents in last 5 years
- valid DOT physical with at least 75 days remaining at orientation
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- minimum 3 months verifiable solo Class A driving experience within last 6 months, or 6 months in last 12 months, or 18 months in last 36 months
- ability to handle dedicated regional routes
- strong safety record with no serious or preventable DOT violations
- good communication skills
- familiarity with DOT regulations
Job Duties
- Drive tractor-trailer for dedicated regional routes
- unload boxes onto a conveyor belt at delivery points
- adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations
- manage 1-3 trailers per week with 2-3 stops per trailer
- maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- communicate effectively with dispatch and store personnel
