Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1+ years tractor trailer commercial driving experience
- 6+ months foodservice/beverage route delivery experience
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attains or has valid current DOT health card and/or able to secure new DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment such as two-wheeler and lift gate to move product cases/freight of varying weight throughout shift

- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment such as two-wheeler and lift gate for moving product cases/freight
Job Duties
- Performs all required safety checks including pre and post-trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Inspects tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and reports all safety issues and/or repairs required
- Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Immediately reports all safety hazards
- Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Performs count check of items and customer invoices and completes all required paperwork associated with freight accurately and legibly
- Moves tractor to the loading dock and attaches preloaded trailer as needed
- Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule and unloads products into designated customer storage areas
- Performs damage control checks, scans items and contacts supervisor about removing orders as per company policy
- Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtains proper signatures including collecting money when required
- Loads customer returns on trailer and secures trailer doors
- Ensures tractor, trailer and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and completes necessary paperwork
- Unloads all equipment, materials and removes trash from trailers as required
- Completes daily record of hours of service and entry in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
- Performs general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keeps trailers clear and clean as required
- Performs other related duties as assigned
