Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- at least one year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- insurable to operate company vehicle
- ability to communicate sufficiently in English
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 350 pounds with equipment
- willingness to work overnight, weekends, holidays or overtime
- able to comply with DOT regulations and food safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
- skill in long-distance driving and customer communication
- ability to handle food, frozen, dry, and refrigerated products
- ability to operate tractor-trailer, 3 axle tractor, 45'-48' trailer, straight truck, and load handling equipment
- problem-solving and organizational skills
- ability to perform basic math operations
Job Duties
- Safely transports product from warehouse to customer location
- unloads product by hand or using hand cart according to customer specifications
- picks up, loads, and unloads damaged goods and customer returns
- completes all required paperwork accurately and timely including DOT logs and inspection reports
- ensures food safety protocols and sanitary conditions are maintained
- follows preferred work methods and reports unsafe conditions
- operates assigned equipment safely
- develops good relationships with customers through courteous service
- communicates route or product issues to management
- transports backhaul products timely and correctly
- works assigned schedule including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- adheres to company policies and standards
