Job Requirements
- must meet company driver qualifications
- valid CDL A license
- ability to record delivery and variance information accurately
- capability to operate hand trucks and electric pallet jacks
- physical ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally with manual aid
- compliance with company safety standards and procedures
- ability to maintain and clean delivery vehicle
- willingness to wear company-provided uniforms and safety devices
- good customer service and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- at least 3 months of commercial driving experience
- must be 21 years or older
- ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Job Duties
- deliver product to convenience stores on established local route
- provide excellent customer service to store owners and customers
- record delivery, buy back, and variance information on daily delivery record
- operate hand trucks and electric pallet jacks
- display merchandise on shelves, showcases, and sales floors including assembling displays and arranging products
- place price and descriptive signs on merchandise and fixtures
- clean shelves, coolers, and display structures regularly
- transfer product using "Sell By" dates
- collect or pick up empty containers and unsold merchandise
- manage loading, unloading, and securing loads for delivery
- obtain customer signatures for pickups or deliveries
- clean inside of truck and perform daily inspection and routine truck maintenance
- wear company-provided uniforms and safety devices
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
