Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 6+ months commercial driving experience
- valid CDL-A license
- must be 21+ years of age
- meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- pass road test
- attain or have valid current DOT health card or be able to secure a new one
- able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and stack product cases/freight
Job Qualifications

- preferred 12+ months foodservice distribution industry experience
- onboard computer and electronic log system experience
- hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience
- customer service-related work experience
Job Duties
- perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- report all safety issues and repairs required and follow all DOT and company safe driving guidelines
- inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- perform count check of items and check customer invoices of loaded products
- check and complete all required paperwork associated with freight accurately and legibly
- drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- unload products from trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas
