Job Requirements

At least 3 months of Class A driving experience in the last three years
Can be local, regional or OTR experience
Trailer must be 40 feet long
Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 12 months
No major moving violations in the last year and only one in the last three years
No more than 4 safety incidents in the last 3 years
No DOT recordable incidents in the last 3 years
Must have a secure location to park the truck during home time

Job Qualifications

Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL)
Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A driving experience excluding training or school time
Clean driving record with no major moving violations in the past year
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
Ability to operate modern Class A trucks with automatic transmissions and APUs
Capability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Strong communication and time management skills

Job Duties

Operate Class A vehicle safely and efficiently
transport no-touch freight across 48 states excluding forced dispatch to NYC or LI
adhere to company policies and all DOT regulations
maintain a clean driving record and ensure vehicle inspections are up to date
communicate effectively with dispatch and management
manage route schedules to meet delivery deadlines
utilize modern truck technology and equipment appropriately
