Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years experience as a professional chef
  • certification in food safety and handling
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • valid food handler permit or license
  • strong commitment to quality and detail

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience as a chef in a similar upscale or private club setting
  • strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards
  • excellent leadership and team management skills
  • creative menu development abilities
  • ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
  • excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • oversee all culinary operations in dining room, bar, poolside, and private events
  • develop and plan seasonal menus to reflect member preferences and dietary requirements
  • manage kitchen staff and workflow to ensure high efficiency and quality
  • maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations
  • coordinate catering for special club events and private functions
  • control inventory and manage kitchen budget effectively
  • collaborate with management to enhance member dining experiences
