Job Requirements

  • At least three years experience in culinary management
  • Previous experience with food service budgets
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to plan and organize culinary operations
  • Willingness to work onsite full-time
  • Commitment to food safety and quality standards
  • Previous experience in K-12 food service under NSLP is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years experience in culinary management
  • Experience managing food service budgets
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of menu planning and nutritional requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
  • Previous K-12 food service experience under NSLP preferred
  • Previous food service contract management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Planning, organizing, and supervising culinary operations of retail and catering services
  • Planning menus based on market trends, customer preferences, and nutritional considerations
  • Conferring with district managers and other departments regarding daily dining service operations
  • Directing and coordinating the work of kitchen staff
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards
  • Managing food service budgets and inventory control
  • Overseeing special catering events and other assigned tasks
