Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three years culinary management experience
- strong knowledge of inventory and purchasing control
- familiarity with P&L management
- ability to manage a food service operation efficiently
- passion for sustainability in food service
- commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Working knowledge of HACCP
- three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge
- extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls
- experience with exposition cooking
- knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering and receiving
- manage menu development focusing on cost control and use of local food products
- oversee P&L accountability and contract-managed service operations
- ensure sanitation, food safety, and quality standards are met including HACCP compliance
- lead and develop culinary team to maintain high standards of food production and presentation
- implement sustainability practices within the culinary operations
- monitor and control food costs and purchasing processes with precision
