Job Requirements

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school diploma
  • minimum 3 years of related work experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods
  • ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds

  • flexibility to perform additional reasonable job duties as requested

Job Duties

  • Prepare special meals or substitute products
  • regulate oven, grill, and rotisserie temperatures
  • thaw food items appropriately
  • ensure proper portioning, distribution, and garnishing of dishes
  • maintain food records
  • control food quality and quantity
  • communicate staffing needs during peak periods
  • inform kitchen leadership of surplus food for daily specials
  • notify Food & Beverage staff of rejected products and available specials
  • ensure food quality
  • prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
  • prepare cold dishes
  • assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, advising, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
  • serve as an example
  • comply with all safety and company policies
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • participate in safety trainings and obtain certifications
  • maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • uphold confidentiality of proprietary information
  • anticipate and meet guest service needs
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • foster positive work relationships
  • support team efforts to achieve common goals
  • listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns
  • ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
  • stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • stretch, bend, twist, and lift objects up to 25 pounds
