Job Requirements

  • technical, trade, or vocational school degree
  • at least 3 years of related work experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • clear and professional communication skills
  • ability to follow all company safety and security policies
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information

Job Qualifications

  • technical, trade, or vocational school degree
  • at least 3 years of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • ability to prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety and security policies

Job Duties

  • prepare special meals or substitute items
  • regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
  • pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
  • ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
  • maintain food logs
  • monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared
  • communicate assistance needed during busy periods
