Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or culinary certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in culinary operations including leadership roles
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage and develop a diverse team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar culinary leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Exceptional culinary skills with attention to detail in food presentation
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Ability to stay current with food trends and regional taste preferences
  • Strong communication and guest interaction skills
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in directing culinary operations including meal preparation and production
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Interact with guests and clients to monitor satisfaction and implement improvements
  • Stay updated with current food trends, techniques, and regional tastes
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, counseling, training, scheduling, and recognition
  • Implement policies, procedures, cost controls, and oversee financial profitability
