Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or culinary certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in culinary operations including leadership roles
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage and develop a diverse team
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar culinary leadership role
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Exceptional culinary skills with attention to detail in food presentation
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to stay current with food trends and regional taste preferences
- Strong communication and guest interaction skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in directing culinary operations including meal preparation and production
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Interact with guests and clients to monitor satisfaction and implement improvements
- Stay updated with current food trends, techniques, and regional tastes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
- Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, counseling, training, scheduling, and recognition
- Implement policies, procedures, cost controls, and oversee financial profitability
