Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3 to 5 years of relevant kitchen leadership experience
- ServSafe certification preferred or must be obtained within 60 days of employment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work full-time onsite at Rock Hill, South Carolina
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage kitchen staff and inventory efficiently
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a full-service restaurant, preferably a steakhouse or upscale dining environment
- Proven leadership skills in managing a kitchen team
- Strong culinary knowledge, including meat preparation and plating standards
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- ServSafe or similar certification required (or obtained within 60 days of hire)
Job Duties
- Supervise, train, and schedule all kitchen staff including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Execute all menu items to Eleven 11’s quality and presentation standards
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to maintain cost efficiency
- Lead daily line checks and ensure kitchen readiness for service
- Collaborate with management to design and update seasonal menus and specials
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organization, and food safety in all kitchen areas
- Enforce compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment and promote professional development
- Assist in hiring, performance evaluations, and staff discipline when necessary
- Monitor portion control and waste management to ensure profitability
