Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- food sanitation safety course and certification obtained within 90 days
- less than 1 year of previous food service experience acceptable
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years old
- food sanitation safety course and certification obtained within 90 days such as Serv Safe, Always Food Safe, TAP Series LLC, or Advanced Health Institute
- associate of arts in food service or vocational/technical training preferred
- working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications preferred
- previous experience in food service preferred but less than 1 year is acceptable
Job Duties
- prepare food for residents
- handle and prepare food safely following infection control and safety policies and procedures
- sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas after each use
- supervise kitchen staff effectively
- perform other duties as assigned
- comply with all organizational policies and standards
