Job Requirements
- Be 18 years or older
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physically and mentally challenging work
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Must have an interest in culinary arts and nutrition
- Must enter into a contract as a commissioned officer in the Navy
- Must follow instructions and maintain accurate records

Job Duties
- Preparing menus and ordering the quantities and types of food items necessary to prepare meals
- Operating kitchen and dining facilities
- Maintaining subsistence inventories and financial records
- Serving as personal food service specialists in commanding officers and admirals messes
- Operating and managing shipboard living quarters and shore-based hotel-type quarters
- Serving as a flight attendant aircrewman
