Job Requirements

  • 0 - 1 year experience
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • MN Food Safety-Sanitation Certification obtained within 90 days if working in Minnesota
  • Certified Food Protection Manager certification within 90 days if applicable
  • Ability to follow established infection control and safety protocols
  • Capability to supervise staff and manage kitchen operations when supervisor is absent

Job Qualifications

  • 0 - 1 year experience in food service
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • MN Food Safety-Sanitation Certification within 90 days or Certified Food Protection Manager issued by the State of Minnesota within 90 days
  • Vocational school technical training or associate degree in food service preferred
  • 1 - 3 years experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare food and bakery items according to standardized recipes
  • Cook foods to specified temperatures ensuring quality and safety
  • Weigh and measure ingredients accurately using correct portioning utensils
  • Assemble food within specified time frames to maintain timely meal service
  • Sanitize equipment and work areas after each use following safety procedures
  • Maintain separate clean and dirty areas in the kitchen workspace
  • Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations in the absence of the supervisor
