Job Requirements
- 0 - 1 year experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- MN Food Safety-Sanitation Certification obtained within 90 days if working in Minnesota
- Certified Food Protection Manager certification within 90 days if applicable
- Ability to follow established infection control and safety protocols
- Capability to supervise staff and manage kitchen operations when supervisor is absent
Job Qualifications
- 0 - 1 year experience in food service
- Must be 18 years or older
- MN Food Safety-Sanitation Certification within 90 days or Certified Food Protection Manager issued by the State of Minnesota within 90 days
- Vocational school technical training or associate degree in food service preferred
- 1 - 3 years experience preferred
- Working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare food and bakery items according to standardized recipes
- Cook foods to specified temperatures ensuring quality and safety
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately using correct portioning utensils
- Assemble food within specified time frames to maintain timely meal service
- Sanitize equipment and work areas after each use following safety procedures
- Maintain separate clean and dirty areas in the kitchen workspace
- Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations in the absence of the supervisor
