Job Duties
- Communicate all guest requests to an appropriate supervisor in a timely and professional manner
- Perform routine pre-service tasks including transporting china, glassware, silverware, setting banquet tables with chafing dishes, and ensuring food warmers have sternos
- Attend to food service lines throughout service by maintaining an adequate supply of clean dishes and utensils, refilling plate warmers, and providing hot dishes and platters
- Set up bus tubs around kitchen as needed during service
- Sweep, clean, and de-grease all kitchen floors daily
- Presoak, clean, and store all china, glassware, and silverware according to specifications
- Tear down dish-washing machine at end of shifts and clean all parts for next use
- Wash, disinfect, and store pots, pans, and fryers correctly
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen sinks, keeping them free of pots and pans
- Retrieve, clean, and return fry pans promptly
- Perform additional routine kitchen cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, cleaning machines, sinks, shelves, walk-in refrigerators and freezers, dumpster area, and employee lounge
- Empty, wash, and reline all trash cans as they fill
- Remove dirty linens and towels from collection areas
- Maintain orderly linen carts and braziers
- Keep dump ramp free of crates, boxes, or trash
- Keep corridor by ice machines clean and dry
- Maintain banquet utensils storage area
- Empty employee lounge trash as needed
- Comply with all Temecula Creek Inn policies and procedures
- Report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas
- Practice safe work habits and follow all company safety rules
- Attend mandatory meetings as directed
- Perform other tasks including cross-training as assigned
