Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current, unencumbered CNA certification in the state
- At least one year of CNA experience in acute or long-term care settings
- CPR certification as required by the state
- Valid driver’s license with vehicle insurance
- Reliable transportation for work-related travel
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Holds current unencumbered certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state
- Minimum one year experience as a CNA in an acute care or long-term care setting
- Experience in hospice care is a plus
- Possess and maintain current CPR certification if state-mandated
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation
Job Duties
- Provide personalized care to patients following their plan of care
- Assist with personal care such as bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing
- Emphasize exceptional customer service to ensure optimal patient satisfaction
- Provide support and guidance to patients' families
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Work closely with nursing staff to address patient needs
- Ensure patient comfort and dignity at all times
