Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 year of experience, training is provided
- Clean driving record
- Maintain CDL Class A or Class B with air brakes endorsement
- Pass all pre-employment screens, including drug, background and criminal checks
- Adherence to safety requirements and wearing required PPE
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Maintain a valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement and current DOT medical card
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to write legibly to complete paperwork
- Basic math skills
- Clean driving record
- Follow and comply with all safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependability
- Adherence to safety requirements and wearing required PPE
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and be organized
Job Duties
- Deliver cold dairy products to customers in an efficient, timely, courteous, and professional manner
- Load or unload cases of product manually with hook, handcart or pallet-jack onto and off the truck
- Ensure load is properly secured
- Collect empty cases
- Follow and comply with DOT regulations per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook
- Complete all daily DOT and customer paperwork including delivery tickets, pre and post trip inspections, driver logs, and vehicle service reports
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transport of loads on assigned route
