Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
  • minimum Class B license
  • clear three year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
  • ability to lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs
  • stamina for physical labor
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • valid driving record
  • compliance with safety standards
  • ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
  • minimum Class B license, Class A strongly preferred
  • clear three year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and on a team
  • strong judgment and problem-solving skills
  • ability to manage and prioritize deadlines
  • physical ability to handle lifting and sustained activity

Job Duties

  • Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation
  • safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites
  • deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you
  • maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations
  • report all accidents involving driver or company equipment
  • demonstrate stamina to lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs for load/unload
  • provide excellent customer service skills and professional attitude
