Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- minimum Class B license
- clear three year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
- ability to lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs
- stamina for physical labor
- ability to communicate effectively
- valid driving record
- compliance with safety standards
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- minimum Class B license, Class A strongly preferred
- clear three year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to work independently and on a team
- strong judgment and problem-solving skills
- ability to manage and prioritize deadlines
- physical ability to handle lifting and sustained activity
Job Duties
- Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation
- safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites
- deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you
- maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations
- report all accidents involving driver or company equipment
- demonstrate stamina to lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs for load/unload
- provide excellent customer service skills and professional attitude
