Job Requirements
- valid Class A CDL license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain within 6 months
- minimum of one year commercial driving experience preferred
- ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and physical
- strong adherence to DOT safety standards
- reliable and able to perform physical loading and unloading tasks
- good communication skills
- willingness to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- minimum of Class A license with DOT Medical Card (highly preferred) or the ability to obtain CDL Class A License and DOT Medical Card within 6 months
- one (1) year of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
- be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical
Job Duties
- deliver products to customers which may include assistance with unloading, ensuring delivery material, etc.
- load truck with daily deliveries, unload product at worksites
- perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and internal policies and procedures
- report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after the route
- comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations
- maintain records such as vehicle logs and bills of lading in accordance with guidelines
- assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking all incoming material
