Job Requirements
- Lift materials weighing up to 80lbs regularly
- Handle and maneuver waste drums sometimes exceeding 400lbs
- Complete pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Maintain a motor vehicle record that meets company standards including no excessive speeding or DUI
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment including steel toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, and hard hats
- Frequent physical activity including bending, lifting, and climbing
- Ability to operate commercial motor vehicle safely and comply with DOT regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven sales and customer service skills
- Ability to operate electronic mobile devices and truck equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Route sales experience preferred
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Med Card, Airbrake and HAZMAT certifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Drive sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies to expand business with new and existing customers
- Deliver top-notch service by providing essential services at customer facilities, including parts washing units and waste drum pickup
- Ensure safety and efficiency by adhering to safety guidelines, inspecting vehicle and equipment, and aligning work orders to minimize travel time
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, pursue additional services, and generate new business opportunities
- Achieve sales quotas and contribute to overall revenue growth
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately
- Maintain compliance with all Department of Transportation requirements
