Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Valid CDL A license
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card
- Ability to hand-lift and utilize equipment like two-wheeler and lift gate with product weights up to 90 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Internal PFG candidates with at least 1 year of service in good standing able to attain CDL permit and DOT health card
- External entry level hires with 0-6 months CDL experience
- Valid CDL A license
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Attain or hold current valid DOT Health Card
- Ability to hand-lift and operate equipment such as two-wheelers and lift gates handling product weights up to 90 pounds
Job Duties
- Attend and successfully complete the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program
- Ride with and assist driver trainer during deliveries as required
- Conduct all required safety checks including pre and post trip tractor/truck and trailer inspections
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving policies
- Inspect freight for proper loading and securement and complete accurate paperwork
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to route schedules
- Unload products, verify deliveries, collect payments if required, and secure trailers
- Perform daily service log entries and maintain vehicle and work area cleanliness
- Perform other related duties as assigned
