Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- one year route delivery experience
- valid commercial driver’s license class B, class A preferred
- ability to read and speak English
- ability to operate vehicle in traffic and weather conditions
- meet productivity and case error goals
- strong customer service skills
- physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- ability to climb on and off truck
- ability to work in confined spaces
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- one year of route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
- valid commercial driver’s license class B, class A preferred
- ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- strong customer relations and problem resolution skills
- ability to operate vehicle in various traffic and weather conditions
- good organizational skills and ability to work independently
- knowledge of product and inventory control techniques
- effective communication and arithmetic skills
Job Duties
- run daily routes with frequent stops and load packages onto hand trucks
- unload product at each stop in designated customer storage areas
- operate in a cross-dock model picking up and returning trucks
- assist with loading trucks and palletizing product as needed
- verify delivery of items with customer and obtain signatures
- handle customer complaints professionally
- perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations
