Job Requirements
- Own your own CDL-A tractor trailer or CDL-B box truck
- Have one full year of verifiable truck driving experience with a CDL-A or CDL-B
- Be willing to relocate to Panama City or Destin, Florida
- Successfully pass background check and driving test
- Complete DOT required drug and physical examination
- Have no DUI/DWI convictions in the past five years
- Provide two qualified helpers for delivery assistance
Job Qualifications
- Own a CDL-A tractor trailer or CDL-B box truck
- Have at least one full year of verifiable commercial truck driving experience
- Previous experience in furniture delivery or assembly preferred
- Ability to use dispatch and communication technology effectively
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage an independent contractor business
- Physical capability to perform furniture delivery and setup tasks
Job Duties
- Transport and deliver furniture to customer homes and businesses within the Panama City or Destin, Florida areas
- Provide in-home delivery and assembly of furniture and accessories
- Operate and maintain your own CDL-A tractor trailer or CDL-B box truck
- Use dispatch app technology to receive and manage delivery assignments
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and company representatives during delivery routes
- Ensure customer satisfaction by handling product carefully and professionally
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during deliveries
