Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old
- valid Class A CDL
- at least 1 month (30 days) of commercial driving experience
- acceptable driving record
- able to perform the essential functions of the job (with or without reasonable accommodations)
- meet all DOT qualifications
- pass a DOT physical, including a DOT drug screen and company hair follicle testing
- acceptable references from past employers
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A)
- minimum of 30 days commercial driving experience
- acceptable driving record
- ability to perform essential job functions
- knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers safely and efficiently
- adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
- maintain accurate logs and records
- execute assigned routes including dedicated, OTR, and regional
- participate in training programs to enhance driving skills
