Job Requirements
- Valid CDL-A and 3+ months of current experience required
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen
- This lane is not suitable for students, recent grads, or trainees
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum of 3 months current driving experience
- Proven ability to perform urban delivery tasks
- Strong understanding of safety and DOT compliance
- Ability to operate trucks with automatic transmissions
- Good physical condition for occasional unloading tasks
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Duties
- Run dedicated solo routes within Chicago and surrounding suburbs
- Transport pre-loaded tri-temp and dual-temp reefer trailers
- Monitor store unload processes and assist with lift gates and pallet jacks where required
- Comply with all DOT regulations including hours-of-service and drug screenings
- Maintain top-of-the-line trucks with automatic transmissions and varied trailer sizes
- Park vehicles legally at distribution center, home, or nearby safe locations
- Work varying shifts including overnight hours and adhere to weekly reset requirements
