Job Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A and 3+ months of current experience required
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen
  • Not suitable for students, recent grads, or trainees
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and flexible hours
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Ability to safely operate tri-temp/dual-temp refrigerated trailers

Job Qualifications

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Minimum 3 months current driving experience
  • Proven ability to operate automatic transmission trucks
  • Capability to use lift gates and pallet jacks
  • Strong knowledge of safety and DOT regulations
  • Good physical condition to handle freight unloading activities
  • Ability to work varied shifts including overnight hours

Job Duties

  • Operate dedicated solo routes primarily in downtown Chicago and surrounding suburbs
  • Manage shuttle, full load, and shuttle point deliveries
  • Monitor unloading process at store delivery points
  • Use lift gates and pallet jacks for inner-city store unloads
  • Maintain compliance with safety and DOT regulations
  • Adhere to scheduled shifts and ensure timely deliveries
  • Park trucks legally and safely at distribution centers or home locations
