Job Requirements
- Valid CDL-A and 3+ months of current experience required
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen
- Not suitable for students, recent grads, or trainees
- Ability to work overnight shifts and flexible hours
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate tri-temp/dual-temp refrigerated trailers
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 3 months current driving experience
- Proven ability to operate automatic transmission trucks
- Capability to use lift gates and pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of safety and DOT regulations
- Good physical condition to handle freight unloading activities
- Ability to work varied shifts including overnight hours
Job Duties
- Operate dedicated solo routes primarily in downtown Chicago and surrounding suburbs
- Manage shuttle, full load, and shuttle point deliveries
- Monitor unloading process at store delivery points
- Use lift gates and pallet jacks for inner-city store unloads
- Maintain compliance with safety and DOT regulations
- Adhere to scheduled shifts and ensure timely deliveries
- Park trucks legally and safely at distribution centers or home locations
