Job Requirements
- CDL Class A
- one year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within past three years
- good driving record/MVR and PSP with no commercial serious violations and no more than three moving violations total within past three years
- age 23 or 21 if meeting FMCSA specs for military to civilian CDL transition
- able to operate equipment safely at all times
- pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
- complete successful road test
- able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
- dependable
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- minimum one year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past three years
- good driving record with no commercial serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past three years
- ability to operate equipment safely
- ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
- strong customer service skills
- dependable and punctual
- preferred endorsements include Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat
- experience with local delivery, LTL, and electric pallet jack usage
Job Duties
- Perform city pickup and delivery of freight
- use scanning equipment to track shipments
- work directly with customers to ensure satisfaction
- complete liftgate deliveries using electric pallet jack
- return to terminal daily
- follow all DOT and safety regulations
- maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic inspections
