Job Requirements

  • 21 plus years of age
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
  • License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Touch freight - may need to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds
  • Flexibility - overtime as required, Saturday and holiday availability is required

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy freight
  • Customer service skills
  • Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns preferred
  • Previous experience in food or beverage delivery preferred

Job Duties

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer on local delivery routes
  • Manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Become familiar with customer operations to meet their specific delivery needs and expectations
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
