Job Requirements
- 21 plus years of age
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Touch freight - may need to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds
- Flexibility - overtime as required, Saturday and holiday availability is required
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy freight
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns preferred
- Previous experience in food or beverage delivery preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer on local delivery routes
- Manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Become familiar with customer operations to meet their specific delivery needs and expectations
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
