Job Requirements
- CDL-A
- 12 months recent and verifiable tractor/trailer experience
- Ability to obtain tank endorsement
- Doubles/triples endorsement
- Ability to work long hours and stay on the road for 10 to 14 days at a time
- Willingness to comply with all DOT regulations
- Ability to pass DOT physical exam
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Valid class-A commercial driver’s license
- Experience driving tractor-trailers for at least 12 months
- Ability to obtain tank endorsement
- Possession of doubles/triples endorsement
- Basic computer skills to use automated loading systems
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Good communication and time management skills
Job Duties
- Transport liquid bulk product over land to and from dairy farms and processing plants
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Input macros into automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations including size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods as well as company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
