- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- tanker endorsement at time of hire
- commitment to obtain HazMat endorsement
- ability to work long hours and extended routes
- pass pre-employment drug screening
- meet federal and company safety standards
- physical ability to perform vehicle inspections and handle freight securely
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- tanker endorsement required at time of hire
- willingness to obtain HazMat endorsement after starting
- experience in driving tanker trucks preferred but not mandatory
- ability to adhere to safety and regulatory standards
- strong communication and record-keeping skills
Job Duties
- Haul 75% non-hazardous freight in tanker trailers
- commute and operate tanker trucks safely and efficiently
- adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company policies
- maintain accurate logbooks and records of driving hours
- complete required vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
- participate in paid orientation and training sessions
- obtain HazMat endorsement through company-facilitated training
