Job Requirements
- class A commercial driver’s license
- hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 120 days
- minimum 30 months driving experience in last 4 years or completion of Walmart Fleet Development Academy
- clean driving record with minimal moving violations
- no serious violations or preventable accidents in last 3-10 years
- reside within 250 miles of assigned location or relocate within 90 days
- ability to meet federal DOT standards and Walmart’s safety policies
Job Qualifications
- interstate (Class A) commercial driver’s license
- hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 120 days
- minimum of 30 months experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the last 4 years or successful completion of Walmart Fleet Development Academy Program
- safe driving record with no more than two moving violations in the past 3 years
- no preventable accidents or serious traffic violations in the last 3 to 10 years
- ability to live within 250 miles of assigned facility or relocate within 90 days
- commitment to customer service and on-time delivery
Job Duties
- make no touch freight deliveries of merchandise to Walmart locations within the region
- uphold high safety standards while operating commercial vehicles
- maintain a positive, team player attitude
- deliver freight on time consistently
- represent Walmart and its values on the road
- participate in safety programs and adhere to company policies
- communicate effectively with dispatch and fleet management
