Job Requirements
- Have interstate Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat endorsement or obtain within 120 days with cleared background check
- At least 30 months full-time experience in Class A tractor/trailer driving in the last 4 years or successful completion of Walmart Fleet Development Academy
- No more than two moving violations while operating personal or commercial vehicle in the last three years
- No serious traffic violations on commercial motor vehicle in last three years
- No preventable accidents while operating commercial motor vehicle in last three years
- No preventable DOT recordable accidents in last ten years
- No preventable accidents resulting in fatality or catastrophic injury in driving history
- Must live within 250 miles of assigned facility or relocate within 90 days from hire date
Job Qualifications
- Interstate Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 120 days
- Minimum of 30 months experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position within the previous 4 years or completion of Walmart Fleet Development Academy
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years
- No serious traffic violations or preventable accidents in the stipulated periods
- Ability to live within 250 miles of assigned facility or willingness to relocate
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Positive team player attitude with dedication to company values
Job Duties
- Make no touch freight deliveries of merchandise to Walmart locations within the region
- Uphold high safety standards and maintain a safe driving record
- Deliver on time, every time, meeting customer service expectations
- Represent Walmart and its values on the road with pride and professionalism
- Participate in driver mentorship and team collaboration programs
- Manage time-off requests and maintain schedule preferences for work-life balance
- Comply with company policies and DOT regulations
