Job Requirements
- interstate class a commercial driver's license with hazmat endorsement including cleared background check or will obtain hazmat endorsement with cleared background check within 120 days of hire
- minimum of 30 months experience working in a full-time class a tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 4 years or successful completion of the walmart fleet development academy program
- no more than two moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
- no serious traffic violations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
- no preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
- no preventable dot recordable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last ten years
- no preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury in driving history
- must currently live within 250 miles of the assigned facility or willing to establish a residence within 250 miles by 90 days from hire date
Job Qualifications
- interstate class A commercial driver's license with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 120 days
- minimum 30 months experience driving Class A tractor-trailer in the last 4 years or successful completion of Walmart Fleet Development Academy
- safe driving record with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years
- commitment to high safety standards and customer service
- ability to live within 250 miles of assigned facility or willingness to relocate
- positive attitude and team player mindset
Job Duties
- perform no touch freight deliveries to Walmart locations within the region
- ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- maintain accurate logs and documentation for each trip
- manage assigned routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- collaborate with dispatch and warehouse personnel for smooth operations
- uphold customer service standards through timely and respectful deliveries
- conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
