Job Requirements
- Class A commercial driver's license with Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 120 days
- At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving experience in the last 4 years or successful completion of Walmart Fleet Development Academy Program
- No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years
- No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years
- No preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- No recordable DOT preventable accidents in the last 10 years
- No fatal or catastrophic accidents on record
- Residence within 250 miles of the assigned location or willingness to establish residence within 90 days
- Ability to pass cleared background checks for Hazmat endorsement
Job Qualifications
- Interstate Class A commercial driver's license with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 120 days
- Minimum 30 months experience in full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in last 4 years or completion of Walmart Fleet Development Academy Program
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in last 3 years
- No serious traffic violations in last 3 years
- No preventable accidents while operating commercial motor vehicle in last 3 years
- No preventable DOT recordable accidents in last 10 years
- No preventable accidents resulting in fatality or catastrophic injury
- Ability to live within 250 miles of assigned facility or willingness to relocate within 90 days
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Positive attitude and team player mindset
Job Duties
- Make no touch freight deliveries of merchandise to Walmart locations within the region
- Maintain safety standards and operate commercial vehicles responsibly
- Adhere to assigned schedules and manage time off preferences
- Participate in driver programs including mentorship and rider programs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Represent Walmart on the road with pride and professionalism
