Job Requirements
- Located within 125 miles of Olive Branch MS, Columbus MS, Nashville TN, Atlanta GA, or Gainesville FL
- Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission trucks
- Ability to work full-time
- Ability to meet physical demands of operating commercial vehicles
- Willingness to follow company policies and federal transportation regulations
- Ability to maintain consistent communication with dispatch
- Readiness to perform no-touch freight operations
- Commitment to safety and timely deliveries
Job Qualifications
- CDL A license required
- Minimum age 21
- One year in the past three years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience or five years in the past ten years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Will also consider drivers with 6-11 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with certification from a Federal Express Corporation approved driving school
- Must have or be willing to acquire doubles endorsement
- Must be able to pass a federal background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must have a clean MVR (driving record)
- DOT medical card must be attached to CDL
Job Duties
- Operate tractor-trailers safely on assigned routes
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics coordinators
- Ensure timely delivery of freight using 100% drop and hook procedures
- Maintain accurate records of mileage and delivery documents
- Participate in mandatory training and safety programs
