Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of OTR driving experience
- Ability to comply with DOT regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work full-time with scheduled routes
- Ability to handle long hours on the road and manage time effectively
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Proven experience in long-haul truck driving
- Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service regulations
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely
- Experience with drop and hook freight handling
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of bulk food-grade freight handling procedures
Job Duties
- Drive commercial Class A vehicles over national and regional lanes
- Transport bulk food-grade freight in a no-touch freight environment
- Follow 2-week rotation schedules averaging 3500-4500 miles per week
- Adhere to DOT Hours of Service regulations
- Perform drop and hook operations with a 60/40 split
- Utilize routes covering Midwest and Northeast states
- Communicate effectively about breakdowns, layovers, and detentions to manage pay and schedules
