Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
  • HazMat endorsement preferred not required
  • TWIC card preferred not required

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to plan and manage time effectively
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Experience with DOT/FMCSA regulations
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance

Job Duties

  • Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • report defects, accidents, or violations promptly
  • Load, secure, and inspect cargo
  • follow special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight
  • Maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation
  • Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is complete and correct
  • Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs)
  • keep trailer clean and ready
