Job Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently
- pass pre-employment background check
- pass pre-employment drug screen
- ability to lift, push, or move freight weighing 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
- willing to work local routes with no overnight travel
Job Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to converse with the public and comprehend traffic signs
- customer delivery experience preferred
- hand cart/hand truck experience preferred
- food and beverage industry experience preferred
- consistent work history preferred for two years
Job Duties
- operate tractor-trailer safely and efficiently
- manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- build positive relationships with customers with a friendly attitude
- become familiar with customer operations to meet needs and expectations
- read and respond to highway traffic signs and official inquiries
- lift, push, or move freight weighing between 40 to 100 pounds
- work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
- maintain accurate delivery records and reports
