Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Have a clean driving record with a valid Class A CDL
- Physical ability to lift, push, or move products weighing 40-60 pounds on average and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
- Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with traffic laws
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to converse with the public and follow instructions
- 1 year of customer delivery experience preferred
- 6 months of hand cart or hand truck experience preferred
- 6 months of food and beverage industry experience preferred
- Consistent work history of 2 years preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customer locations on assigned routes
- Manually unload and handle freight, including products weighing up to 100 pounds
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through friendly and professional service
- Read, understand, and respond to highway traffic signs and signals
- Complete necessary reports, records, and deliveries in compliance with company and safety regulations
- Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business needs
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
