Job Requirements
- Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to lift, push, or move freight weighing 40-60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as necessary
- Must be available to work a set schedule Monday through Saturday
- Must be willing to stay overnight once a week on route
- Must have the physical capability to handle touch freight requirements
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently for communication and compliance
- Preferred 1 year customer delivery experience
- Preferred 6 months experience using hand cart or hand truck
- Preferred 6 months food and beverage industry experience
- Preferred 2 years consistent work history
Job Duties
- Operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently
- Deliver various food products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Manually load and unload products at customer locations
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships by understanding and meeting their needs
- Follow assigned route schedules and adhere to company policies
- Perform an overnight stay once a week on assigned routes and manage associated logistics
- Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records
