Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent degree
- 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must be insurable to operate a vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to push/pull up to 250 pounds of product
- Ability to climb in and out of tractor and trailer
- Ability to bend, twist, and reach while handling product
- Ability to work overnight schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Must meet DOT regulations
- Ability to communicate in English
- Must follow COVID-19 safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent degree
- Completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazmat guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Skill in driving long distances and various terrains
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- Ability to operate a 3 axle tractor, 45' - 48' trailer, straight truck, onboard computer, keypad, and 2 wheel hand cart
- Ability to plan and organize work independently
- Problem solving skills
Job Duties
- Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions and place in designated customer storage areas according to specifications
- Complete all paperwork including DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, vehicle maintenance reports, pre- and post-trip reports, and daily invoices accurately and timely
- Ensure food safety protocols are met including maintaining proper temperatures, inspecting products for damages, and preventing cross contamination
- Maintain sanitary conditions in tractor, trailer, warehouse, and yard
- Develop and establish good relationships with customers through excellent and courteous service
- Drive tractor trailer safely and efficiently following designated routes
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
