Job Requirements
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- Minimum age of 21 years
- One year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Meet McLane's motor vehicle record (MVR) and risk rating qualifications
- Ability to read write and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively
Job Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- Ability to read write and understand English sufficiently to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively
Job Duties
- Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
- Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
- Drive tractor-trailer to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and maneuvering skills
- Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations documenting delivery receipt product temperatures and exceptions
- Unload trailer delivering product into customer premises
- Perform other duties as assigned
